hello! i’m erica
Wife, mother of 5
9 years ago, I began having gut and skin issues that slowly got worse and worse. After having my 3rd baby, I was at my breaking point. He also dealt with food allergies/sensitives and was covered in rashes for years. After years of suffering, and now watching my baby deal with the same, something had to change.
I saw a naturopath, dove into books and listened to all the health podcasts I could find, and they all said the same thing. Food has a huge impact on your health. But it’s not only about what or how much you eat. The quality of the food you eat matters.
HOWEVER, buying the best quality of everything can be expensive and isn’t even practical for most families. And not to mention all the “healthy” foods on the shelves that aren’t really healthy.
The grocery stores are more confusing (and expensive) than ever, but it doesn’t need to be this way.
I began Unprocess Your Kitchen to help moms feed their families delicious AND nutritious food, without having to spend their savings and sacrifice all their time cooking from scratch.

A few things about me…
- I have an amazing and supportive husband and we have 5 crazy and fun kiddos (4 boys and a baby girl).
- In the past few years I have turned into a homebody and don’t like to leave home (unless I absolutely have to).
- I’ve always enjoyed cooking and baking and have memories of making (and eating) entire cookie sheets of oh henry bars. While I no longer make the corn syrup and super sugary version from my childhood, I still make a version of them with honey. And they are still a favorite!
- If I had a job (other than being home with my kids) I could be a home manager, grocery shopping, food prep, cleaning and organizing. I love the things I do in my home and would find joy doing it for other people.
